Baltimore Metropolitan Alumni Chapter

The National Society of Black Engineers Baltimore Metropolitan Alumni Chapter (NSBE-BMAC) was officially chartered in March of 1989 as one of the first ten Alumni Chapters in the country. NSBE-BMAC represents engineers, physicists, mathematicians, scientists, and other technical professionals in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Community Service

NSBE-BMAC strives to positively impact the community through various community service programs and activities. To date, BMAC members have volunteered at Maryland Public Television (MPT), Our Daily Bread, Meals on Wheels, and have participated in numerous activities with students ranging from elementary school to college.

Professional Development

NSBE-BMAC strives to develop and organize professional development activities that will enable its members to become more effective, productive, and competitive professionals. Our goal is to organize workshops, lecture series, and activities that will assist with developing the professional skills of our members.

Social Networking Events

NSBE-BMAC provides a forum where individuals of various backgrounds and professions can do professional and social networking. In the past NSBE-BMAC has hosted the following: After Work Socials, BBQ's, Alumni/College Mixers, Awards Banquets.
